Lechlade Festival returns this month over the next bank holiday weekend from 24th – 26th May.  Now in its 9th year, the 3-day family friendly event is expected to welcome over 6,500 festival-goers.

In addition to 5 music stages, the Comedy Tent will offer an alternative form of entertainment on Friday and Saturday night.  Sponsored by Edward Bays Limited, the Swindon and Oxford based heating and plumbing company, the tent boasts a lively line-up of stand up, comedy musicians and more.

“The Edward Bays Comedy Tent offers something a little different to festival goers”, says Festival Founder Jennie Rainsford, “the line -up is looking fantastic, it’s a great place to sit back and enjoy a great laugh.”

This year’s line up includes Nailsworth based Gavin Pond, Gloucestershire comedians Nick Manzonowicz and Eddie O’Keefe and many more.

The full festival line up can be seen on the website, including acts announced for a new stage for this year, curated by Sofar Sounds Swindon.

The Renishaw Main Stage will host headliners The Feeling on Sunday Night, with The Marley Experience topping the tribute night on Friday.  That 80s Rock Show returns by popular demand on Saturday night, giving festival-goers an excuse to don their party gear and dance to 80s hits.

Families can enjoy free workshops and activities, including yoga, circus skills, flamenco, Zumba, robots and more.  Fabulous food, real ales, stalls and rides complete the weekend.

Children 16 and under go free, whether camping or visiting for the day.
