Following a record breaking opening weekend and a much anticipated return to Swindon, panto star and soap legend Adam Woodyatt took some time away from panto preparations to explore the town and see what’s changed since he was last here 26 years ago, performing in Mother Goose.

Currently playing Chambers, the Wicked Queen’s hapless henchman in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Adam was all smiles as he visited Swindon’s newest leisure development, Regent Circus to meet with staff and site manager, Steve Bizley.

Recalling his previous visit to Swindon, Adam said “It’s great to be back in Swindon after all this time. I performed in my first ever pantomime here in 1989 so I have really fond memories of the town. It’s interesting to see how much it’s changed over the years!”

This year’s pantomime is sponsored locally by Regent Circus. Site manager, Steve Bizley was excited to meet Adam and said “It was really exciting to welcome Adam to Regent Circus! It is amazing to think how much Swindon has changed in the 26 years since he was last here and we hope Regent Circus was a relaxing stop off for him during his busy schedule.”

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has opened to rave reviews. With over 90% of tickets sold already, you’ll have to be quick if you want a ticket to the fairest panto in all the land!
