The Reduced Shakespeare Company is ready to reduce Oxford to tears of laughter for one night only on Wednesday 3 June, with their brand new show The History of Comedy (Abridged).

The company is famous for skewering history, the Bible and the world’s most celebrated playwright.  Following a hugely successful, critically-acclaimed season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the company is back with the subject it was born to reduce – comedy!

The Reduced Shakespeare Company is a three-man comedy troupe which has been delighting audiences for over 30 years across stage, TV and radio shows. They have toured across the UK, performing to sell-out audiences nationwide and receiving rave reviews.

From the high-brow to the low and everything in-between, the bad boys of abridgment leave no joke untold as they deconstruct the entire history of comedy in 90 rollicking minutes.

Tickets for the Reduced Shakespeare Company at Oxford Playhouse start at £11 and are available from the Ticket Office on 01865 305305 or book online at www.oxfordplayhouse.com
