Glastonbury announces its first vegan fair

Come and celebrate plant-based living! Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or maybe you just want to find out more about the craze sweeping the nation.

Veganism, as a sustainable way of life has become an unstoppable energy with especially huge growth in demand in the cruelty-free food market. The Number of Vegans in Britain has risen by 360% in the last 10 years and over a quarter (28%) of meat eating Brits have chosen to actively reduced or limited their meat consumption in the last few years. Plant-based living is rapidly on the rise as people discover how they can live a healthier and happier life.

Taking place on Sunday August 26 be prepared to sample some delicious food and meet some of the fair’s stallholders, who will be presenting a range of food, drink, clothing, cosmetics, accessories and gifts. There will also be talks, childrens activities and demonstrations. Try the food, pick up a new recipe, treat yourself or pick up a gift for a loved one at the fair.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the delicious food, fabulous stalls and positive atmosphere. A great day out for all so bring your family and friends. The Glastonbury Vegan Fair will showcase everything from hot food to eat on the day to packaged goods to take away. As well as boasting a range of clothing and accessories, health and beauty products, crafts and lifestyle brands.

The event will be taking place in the historical Glastonbury Town Hall and doors will be open 10am to 4pm. Entry to the event will be £3 and accompanied children under 14 are free.
