Saturday November 11 at Salisbury Arts Centre is filled with opportunities to boost your imagination with three workshops.

Attendees can either create or discover a hand-picked collection of gorgeous work by talented contemporary artists and makers to give and enjoy this Christmas. Three workshops and exhibition opening on that day will help you create or purchase unique, handmade presents to give and receive.

Celebrate: Gathered and Gifted 2017 exhibition opens 11am to 2pm. Discover a hand-picked collection of gorgeous work by talented contemporary artists and makers to give and enjoy this Christmas. Enjoy choosing from an array of unusual  and distinctive work in ceramics, glass, textiles, paint, print, jewellery and wood.

Celebrate: Gathered and Gifted will run from Saturday November 11 to December 23.

Lino printing with Charlotte Moreton (1.30 pm to 4pm) is a one-off workshop for adults. Starting with a simple motif, you will create a series of unique monoprints using cut shapes and stencils, adding blends of coloured ink.

You will be shown how to use lino cutting tools to develop these ideas to create a plate from which to print an edition. Cost: £30, materials provided.

Another one-off creative workshop for adults with Charlotte Moreton  (10am to 1pm) is  Christmas printing. Create your own unique cards and wrapping paper for friends and family this year.

Hand printing using lino and the humble potato and some fun colour blending. Cost: £30, materials provided.

Porcelain Christmas Making with Mirka Golden-Hann (2pm to 4pm) is a fantastic opportunity to get creative with the beautiful material Porcelain.

Adorn your home or produce a touching gift with your own hand made Christmas decorations. Cost: £18, materials provided.

Entry to the exhibition and the opening event is free.
