One of the things that we’ve grown to love about this time of year is that it’s when all the gaming studios release their big guns to fill our stockings. Here’s our top five games that you should be asking Santa for this year… 
If anyone remembers the beauty of the N64’s sandbox Super Mario World then this will knock your socks off and has been perfectly developed for The Switch. Giant mushrooms are sure to abound.
Wolfenstein hero B.J. Blazkowicz returns to fight the Nazi menace in the 1960s in an alternate history USA where the Nazis won World War II. Totally mad and shoot-em-up stuff. 
It’s a whole new world for the assassins as we journey to ancient Egypt for the beginnings of the order. A change-up for the series with more roleplay and strategy elements. 
Star Wars is going to reign supreme this Christmas with the Last Jedi release on top of this. Expect amazing graphics and the much-anticipated single player campaign sadly lacking from the first game. 
A return to Mordor for this Lord of the Rings based series with an even better nemesis system enabling you to control armies. Superb stuff and Gollum’s in it too.
