Britain’s Got Talent finalist Daliso Chaponda and comedian/radio presenter John Robins are among the acts bringing their touring shows to Oxford’s Glee Club this spring.

UK-based comedian Daliso wowed TV audiences on the 11th series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent last year. What The African Said… (February 23) references Daliso’s Malawian heritage, while John Robins’ angst ridden Edinburgh Comedy Award 2017-winning The Darkness Of Robins (February 11 and April 12) sees “London’s saddest DJ” reflect on love, loss and lamenting the fact he can’t break up with himself!

After looking back at the 1980s for his previous show, Patrick Monahan moves onto the next decade with Rewind Selector 90s (March 2). Recalling the challenges he faced as an Irish/ Iranian immigrant, Monahan ponders how much life has changed since the decade of Cool Britannia.

Since he was a small boy Simon Evans (Genius, March 11) has dreamed of being recognised as a genius to general indifference. But then again, the world seems increasingly indifferent to true genius of any kind, let alone Evans’. A writer on Lee Mack’s joke-heavy sitcom, Not Going Out, Evans’ is currently back on BBC Radio 4 with … Goes To Market, where he combines economic theories and comedy to look at such money-related topics as Social Media and Philanthropy.

Having previously explored such seemingly mundane subjects as sleep, water, faces, the sky and the colour yellow, The Hair Show (March 16) sees the Daniel Kitson-approved Rob Auton return with a show for anyone who has, or has had, hair and hairs. Leaving his own hair and beard to its own devices, Auton considers the importance of appearance, and how people react to someone who looks like they’ve ‘checked out’.

Fresh off the back of two sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs, Fern Brady heads out for her debut UK tour. Suffer Fools (February 16) expertly demonstrates why she’s heralded as one of Scotland’s best new talents.

Concluding the season is the majestic Craig Campbell with Easy Tiger (April 28) - another raucous hour from the acclaimed Canadian who’s toured with Frankie Boyle three times.

Alongside the touring shows, the Cowley Road comedy club continues to boast cracking four-act line-ups every Saturday night. Those set to grace The Glee’s stage include over the coming weeks include Angela Barnes (February 17), Edinburgh Fringe favourite and Funny Women Award winner Jayde Adams (March 3), Carl Donnelly (March 17), Man Like Mobeen star Guz Khan plus Upstart Crow’s Rob Rouse (March 24), and Rob Deering (April 28), amongst others.
