Junkyard Golf Club will be launching their third golfing hole at the end of the month in Oxford’s Westgate Shopping Centre.

But, this isn’t any ordinary golfing hole. Junkyard Golf are renowned for their use of recycled, or ‘pre-loved’, materials as well as their unique and transforming spaces. The avant-garde venue includes three extraordinary 9-hole courses (Bozo, Pablo and Gary) complete with all things random and UV disco lights, five individually themed cocktail bars accompanied by Junkyard’s food menu, and bad puns. Chris Legh, one of the founders of Junkyard Golf Club, explained: “Junkyard is a completely different kind of night out and we can’t wait to bring it to Oxford. We’ll be installing three, wacky and immersive 9 hole courses, all supported by plenty of bars. “With over 10,000 sq. foot to play with, look out for reclaimed and re-purposed installations, slides, vintage cars, sailing boats and the UV and jungle madness that has made our venues famous. Try to avoid the scary clowns though!” Junkyard Golf will be officially launching in Oxford’s Westgate November 30. See you on the  green.
