Perfect for work parties and seasonal treats, December’s weekend bills see a cavalcade of outstanding comic talent supplying the laughs.
Each night sees four top acts taking to the stage, including the guitar-wielding, loop-layering stand-up Rob Deering and Tom Allen’s touring partner Suzi Ruffell (2 Dec). They’re followed by Geordie jokesmith John Fothergill and Harry Hill favourite Sol Bernstein (December 8 to December 9).
Look out too for musical comedian Kate Lucas and TV and stand-up veteran Junior Simpson (December 16), while the Xmas weekend (December 22) boasts showman Charlie Baker and hotly tipped young comedian Tom Lucy.
Other acts visiting the club in December include Rhod Gilbert tour opener Andrew Bird, the forceful JoJo Smith, and fast-thinking Scot Stuart Mitchell.
