To celebrate the new sourdough on the block, the Oxford branch will be giving away 500 free pizzas August 14 to August 18. Based on the Italian tradition of offering complimentary pizza to new customers, there are 100 pizzas up for grabs each day.
Championing the classic Neapolitan pizza-making process, the new pizzeria seats 60. The pizzas are made from slow-rising sourdough, the menu invites customers on a delicious journey using UK growers and small-scale Italian producers.
Customers can enjoy classic Italian flavours from as little as (£4.95) including the newly introduced pizza no. 7 (£8.25) with spicy lamb sausage, mozzarella, buffalo ricotta and yellow Piennolo tomato. The meat and veg specials, selected by the Head Pizzaioli, are changed daily.
To fuel guests’ appetite further, Franco Manca offers a range of bites such as the Burrata Pugliese and sourdough garlic bread, plus a delicious selection of desserts. These desserts include lemon almond cake and the homemade tiramisu, which is prepared by chefs on-site every day.
To wash it all down, Franco Manca welcomes guests to raise a glass and enjoy the new rosé (Nero d’Avola), an unfiltered Sicilian wine introduced for the summer, as well as ‘No Logo’ beer, pale ale and cider.

Located in the heart of Oxford at the junction of George and Cornmarket Streets the new pizzeria follows openings for Franco Manca, in Richmond, Reading and Islington. Further expansion is planned for later this year.
