The event is a fundraiser for the Windmill and it’s always popular - early booking is advised! If you’ve not been before, you are missing a hilarious event in a wonderful setting - bring some friends too, the more the merrier!
The entertainment is supplied by Smoke & Mirrors, a professional murder mystery company specialising in interactive theatre. Watch a full cast of actors play out a series of dramatic clue-laden scenes to move the story along. They’ll also sit with you, talk to you, and allow you interrogate them. Then there’ll be a murder (perhaps more than one), and it’ll be up to you to work who did it, why they did it, and what they did it with.
You can play along as much or as little as you wish, in or out of character; you can throw yourself in totally or you can sit back and enjoy a great evening in the stunning surroundings of Wilton Windmill. It’s completely up to you, but whatever you choose to do; you can be assured of an excellent evening’s entertainment!
This year’s plot is “For Whom the Bells Toll” – a riotous comedy of machinations, mayhem, murder and Morris Dancing - with opportunities for some serious (and not-so-serious) sleuthing.
Tickets include an outstanding gourmet hog-roast buffet (with vegetarian option); and there’ll be a cash bar available all evening. There will also be prizes of champagne and chocolates!
Large groups are most definitely welcome, and we’re pleased to offer one free ticket for every group of ten booked.
