Fieldview Festival to return to Wiltshire in August

Fieldview Festival, the popular live music and arts event, will return to Little Somerford from 3 - 6 August, offering the best in up-and-coming music, workshops and local produce.

Self-styled as ‘Wiltshire’s biggest little festival’, the former garden party turned 3000 capacity event has built a reputation for its strong charitable ethos and support of UK’s best independent and grassroots artists.

Now in its 11th year, Fieldview has a history of booking acts that are destined for larger stages. Artists such Ben Howard, Lucy Rose, Bear’s Den and Youngr have all played at the festival on their way to bigger things. Although this year’s lineup is yet to be announced, excitement is growing amidst speculation that the organisers have something special in store.

Dan Cameron, Fieldview Festival Director, explains; “We just try and programme the best quality music we can. We want to surprise people. We don`t want to select  just one genre or style; we want people to discover their new favourite band or try a workshop they would never normally come into contact with.”

“We’re run by volunteers and we pride ourselves on helping the environment and supporting the local economy. All our food is locally sourced and over the last 11 years we have raised over £30,000 for various local and international charities.”

With a near-compulsory fancy dress theme, yoga, tai chi workshops, boutique stalls and late night revelry, Fieldview Festival has something for everyone.

Keep an eye out for ticket availability and line up announcements!
