Didn't get a ticket to Swindon's Gin Festival? Well, you're in luck!

GinFestival.com’s first and upcoming event at Swindon’s Steam Museum sold out in a matter of weeks, so festival organisers have increased the capacity to meet demand.

Clearly Swindon has an underestimated thirst for gin, which is why extra tickets for the event have gone on sale. The festival invites everyone from gin connoisseurs to complete be-gin-ners to come and celebrate one of the nation’s most popular tipples.

The Gin Festival organisers said: We can’t believe the response we’ve had to our first event in Swindon. We’re so excited to bring the gin to such a unique and interesting venue and thrilled that we’ll be able to share it with even more gin-enthusiasts through increasing the capacity.”

The two day event will take place as follows:

  • Friday September 29 - Evening Session - 6.30pm - 11pm
  • Saturday September 30 - Afternoon Session - 12.30pm - 5pm
  • Saturday September 30 - Evening Session - 6.30pm - 11pm

As you can imagine, the Gin Festival will come armed with over 100 different gins try. From small bespoke producers to more established brands, distilled both in the UK and internationally, everyone is sure to find their new favourite.

Ticket holders will be greeted with a Gin Festival Copa Balloon Glass and ‘The Gin Explorer Book’ which will guide you through this spirited soiree. The bars will be operating on a £5 per token system which will equate to a single measure of gin, garnish and a Fever-Tree mixer.

There’s also masterclasses with gin distillers to entertain those with a thirst for knowledge and laughter. Delicious street food vendors serve up hot food, and live music encourages the crowd to get up and dance when the gin kicks in.

Attendees can then continue the festival at home by purchasing a bottle (or two) and other gin-goodies from the off licence or online.

With the growth in love for this juniper-based spirit, more and more people have hopped on board, enabling these events and GinFestival.com to become bigger and better than ever.

Additional tickets are now on sale for £18, a last minute batch could also be on sale for £22, and available to buy from www.ginfestival.com.
