Dead Rat Orchestra and Sutari join forces to bring Oxford a unique experience

By Ryan Thompson

The Dead Rat Orchestra and Sutari will join forces to bring a memorable evening to Oxford this summer.

The British group Dead Rat Orchestra (DRO) will be touring across the UK with Polish folk trio Sutari this summer, using various objects as instruments like meat cleavers, axes and other utensils

Satari is a Polish group made up of only three members, which takes old folk songs and give them a modern feel to them while using everyday items as musical instruments.

Dead Rat Orchestra is another folk group of musicians that create music from axes, wood and other objects.

This event will be on Monday July 16 at the Holywell Music Room, Oxford. Doors will open at 7pm and the show will start at 7.30pm.
