The day presents a rare opportunity to see many wonderful magnolia trees in bloom along with the other lovely shrubs and plants at that time of the year.
Open from 2pm, home-made teas will be served as well as a chance to explore the six acre garden of hedges, herbaceous borders, rose arches, bee garden and orchard stuffed with good plants. It is overlooked by the house and arranged above the small valley garden which is crowded with magnolias and rhododendrons, cornus and hydrangeas.
