Britain's Bake Off sweetheart comes to Oxford

Loved for her warmth and charisma as well as her unique approach to flavours, Britain’s favourite Bake Off winner, Nadiya Hussain, has captured the heart of the nation, and will be telling her unique story at the Oxford Playhouse as part of a special event on July 19.

Nadiya will be in conversation with Barney Desmazery, Senior food Editor at BBC Good Food Magazine, about her life and adventures with food. From cooking for her family to baking the Queen’s 90th Birthday Cake, and how she’ll never say “maybe” again.

Combining her love of family and food, flavour and fun, Nadiya will introduce her latest recipe book, Nadiya’s British Food Adventure, which transforms familiar British dishes into fresh and enticing new recipes. Inspired by her travels up and down the country visiting local food heroes and producers, come and hear about Masala Eggy Bread, Jerk Haddock, Rosemary Banoffee Pie and more and be inspired to expand your own cooking repertoire.

Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase a discounted copy of Nadiya’s British Food Adventure at £13 (RRP £20) when you book your tickets. Pre-bought books will be available for collection from the on-site Waterstones on the night.

Full price books will be available for purchase on the night and Nadiya will be signing and dedicating books after the event.
