Brighton alt-rock band Hybrid Kid release new single

Hybrid Kid have released their new single ‘Restless’.

Hybrid Kid have been playing for a number of years in various guises and places, including the US, where the band were based for a prolonged stint. Now back on home soil, appearances on Brighton’s Latest TV, The Roadee, airplay on BBC 6Music, BBC Sussex, Radio Reverb and many college radio stations worldwide, has slowly built them an underground cult following.

‘Restless’ can be viewed below:

The band’s previous single ‘Dropped’ has already amounted 115k Spotify streams and was played on BBC 6 Music, BBC Sussex, Fresh on the Net, and over 20 other stations.

A spokesperson for the band said: “Quirky alternative brit rockers Hybrid Kid are three of the most regular guys you could ever want to meet.  They’ve been pushing the envelope for a few years now in a way that only Tim the wannabe postman can truly understand. With kookie riffs, hooky choruses and their mind expanding shows they’ve been wowing the south coast and now they’re coming for you.

“The enthusiasm and energy of Hybrid Kid is an extension of three wayward personalities: Danny (guitar/vocals), Tim (bass), and Fabio (drums) bring a dynamic and experimental edge to this band of rock’n’roll travellers.  Bring on the heavy! ”
