Bluegrass to become NewGrass with Cutters performance

A progressive ‘NewGrass’ four-piece band are to return to Arlington Arts Centre this September to perform big hits in the style of Bluegrass.

The NewGrass Cutters, which consists of Pete Brown, Phil Capaldi, Richard Collins and Andy Crowdy are all veterans of the UK Music Scene having worked together as a backing band for rock ‘n’ roll legend, Joe Brown.

On Friday 7 September 2018 at 8pm, the band will be performing an array of highly original covers and well-known rock and pop songs from the last 50 years.

With all profits from their performance and the Arlington Arts Centre going directly to Mary Hare, a school and national charity supporting deaf children.

The Arlington Arts Centre said: “All four band members can sing in different styles so there are some quality vocal harmonies as well as some really original arrangements.

The band call their style of music ‘Newgrass’- because it is their own interpretations of top quality songs with a touch of Bluegrass.”

Tickets are available for £16.50 online at www.arlingtonarts.co.uk
