Artist is keeping an eye out for volunteers who can help him create his latest piece

Members of the public are being invited to play an active role in a forthcoming art exhibition.

Artist Andrew Shackleton is calling for volunteers to send him close up photographs of a left or right eye to be used as part of an art exhibition, ISIS • HORUS • OSIRIS, taking place at the Silk Mill in Frome on February 11 and 12.

The submitted photographs will be used to create a large-scale printed composition and a triptych video installation invoking the ancient Egyptian Gods.

Submissions will close once the 104th eye has been submitted, or on the 20th January 2017.

Participants will be able to take a resulting framed piece of artwork, using their eye, home at the end of the exhibition.

Further details and the online submission form can be found on www.isis-horus-osiris.com.
