Add some Drama to your Home Schooling!

To help parents and children during lockdown, Swindon’s Shoebox Theatre is offering FREE Online Drama classes for ages 4-11! Funded by Arts Council England, these boredom busting online workshops will be a fun, creative way for your child to learn, let off steam and meet new friends.

The online programme will initially run for 4 weeks during lockdown and will be taught by Drama Teacher and Puppeteer, Bee Daws, who is a regular at the Shoebox Theatre.

“We are excited to be able to support both parents and children during lockdown and have worked with Bee to adapt our Drama classes to be delivered online. We hope that they will provide children with something fun, social and interactive to do during the school day and will give parents a much needed break! Sadly, the Shoebox Theatre has had to close it’s doors since February last year, but with help from Arts Council England, we have been able to run online activities for the local community, which has been fantastic!” said Hannah Marquez, Producer at the Shoebox Theatre.

The free programme of online classes will start on Wednesday the 20th of January and can be booked at www.shoeboxtheatre.org.uk/whatson
