Acclaimed theatre company bring their award winning show to Oxford venues this autumn

This September and October sees the return of the world renowned theatre company Paines Plough to Oxford’s Pegasus Theatre and North Wall.

Their play Growth, by Luke Norris (So Here We Are, Royal Exchange; Goodbye To All That, Royal Court) will be performed at Pegasus Theatre and then followed up with a performance at The North Wall, offering theatre-goers two chances of getting tickets to what is guaranteed to be a fantastic piece of theatre.

Growth deals with the taboo subject of male health, in particular testicular cancer. A play about manning up and growing up, which despite its serious subject matter is described as funny, raw and moving.

The winner of a prestigious Fringe First Award in 2016 when it played in rep at Paines Plough’s Roundabout, Growth will embark upon a second UK tour.

Paines Plough tour the best of new theatre all over the UK, visiting a variety of venues from cavernous concert halls, tiny village halls and everything in between. Over the years they have produced work from world renowned playwrights like Sarah Kane, Mark Ravenhill, Kate Tempest and many more.
