Tall Stories are a children’s theatre company, internationally recognised for their exciting blend of storytelling theatre, original music and humour.

The Evening Standard said: “A monster hit.”

The Gruffalo is arguably one of the UK’s best-loved monsters, especially among young children and their parents. The book, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, was first published in 1999.

Since then the story has won the Nestlé Smarties Prize, the Blue Peter Award for The Best Book to Read Aloud, and was voted the UK’s favorite bedtime story 2009. Following the popular sequel, The Gruffalo’s Child, the mysterious monster is now very much a house hold name.

Catch Mouse and the Gruffalo at the Corn Exchange in Newbury on September 22, to September 24.
