Songs of Praise at The Vic

Songs of Praise may have a reputation of bringing the best new music into Swindon, but this time, by their own admission, they have pushed even those impressive boundaries.
The Manic Shine bring their anthemic yet intricate, kick-arse noise to this regular showcase night to prove conclusively that inspiring, cool, punchy, groove-laden, atmospheric, intelligent rock music is back on the menu!
They are joined by fellow Animal Farm label mates, Ataraxis Vibration, a band who alchemise all that was epic about early seventies rock and re-package it for a modern audience.
Opening the night will be the more pop-rock orientated sounds of Streetfight Silence.
Three outstanding bands whom you won’t see play at this level for much longer. If you make it to only one Songs of Praise show this year, make it this one.
All this takes place on Thursday November 1 at The Vic, Swindon and entry is free.
