The ice hockey season comes to an end this month while the Elite speedway campaign gets under way.
2001 ice hockey league champions Swindon Wildcats are unlikely to be involved in the end-of-season shake up in the English Premier League. However, local pride is at stake as they look to finish above Bracknell Bees and Basingstoke Bison. They face the Bees on the final day of the season.
Meanwhile, the Swindon Robins speedway team, captained this season by Hans Andersen, rev up for the start of the season with a double header against Birmingham, starting with a home fixture at the Abbey Stadium.
