Swindon born pianist and singer/songwriter Alice Offley will be supporting Gabby Young at her performance on Monday 1 October at the Swindon Arts Centre.

Alice states her influences are varied, from classical to grunge and anything with emotion.

When asked to support Gabby, Alice said: "I feel so excited, I remember watching a gig of hers a few years ago in Swindon, and she is a beautiful, powerful and unique artist. I feel privileged to be performing at the Swindon's Art Centre with her."

Gabby Young and Other Animals, the great folk, jazz and swing singer, is back by popular demand  at the arts centre along with her 8-piece band.

At the age of 12 Gabby became the youngest ever recruit to the National Youth Choir and was on track to become an opera singer but at age of 22 she developed thyroid cancer. This is when she became serious about sharing her heartfelt emotion, which shines through her beautifully haunting songs.

This evening will be full of stunning music and is one not to be missed.

To book tickets for Gabby Young & Other Animals on Monday 1st October 8pm, priced £12, call the Arts Centre on 01793 614837.
