Saturday 26th May, The Furnace, Swindon.

UNIQUE metal tinged, operatic rock is coming to Swindon. A legend in her own scene, SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA, the one time front woman of epic, operatic metal act Cradle Of Filth, will be playing Swindon’s most prestigious venue.

After her ten year stint co-fronting the metal band, Ms Deva has hit the road with her own self titled project, featuring local musician and one time Dead Lay Waiting guitarist, Azz Willoughby.

The 10 date tour throughout May concludes the day after our Swindon show at London’s legendary Nambucca venue, meaning Swindon has the opportunity to really stand out amongst some national venues.

Sarah Jezebel Deva is promoting her digital EP “Malediction” featuring the track “This Is My Curse” which has a guest vocal appearance from Dani Filth, her vocal partner in the Cradle Of Filth days. The 3 song EP has been recevied with glowing reviews. You can stream the EP from metal magazine, Terrorizer, official website.

Local support has been confirmed as post-metal hardcore types, Go Out With A Bang, who on this occasion will be fronted by former “Fall To The Frontline” singer, Benji – a familiar and loved sight on the local music scene.

Tickets are £5 advance from venue / wegottickets.com / blue banana, or £7 on the door. The evenet will be 14+, though the curfew is 11pm, after which Reboot Club kicks in.
