Comedy, beer and live music at The Blue Boar in Aldbourne

To paraphrase Belinda Carlisle ‘heaven is a place on earth’. Well, there is a place this month which will be as close to heaven on earth as you’re ever likely to get.
We’re talking about The Blue Boar in Aldbourne which will be holding its annual beer festival on the weekend of Friday April 20 and Saturday April 21.
And on top of the 20 real ales and ciders on offer you’ll also be able to listen to some damn fine live music on the Friday night and then on the Saturday night, the pub will be holding its very first comedy night as part of the festival and they’ve got some top comedians coming from across the country.
