Ivor Novello award winning songwriter Emily Barker and her band The Red Clay Halo join the UK and European leg of the Revival Tour this autumn.

And the tour will be coming to Oxford's O2 Academy on November 13.

Following the release of the beautiful murder ballad single ‘Fields Of June’ featuring Frank Turner, which came out on 13th August 2012, Emily will join the stellar line-up of the Revival Tour that includes Hot Water Music’s Chuck Ragan, American singer/songwriter Cory Branan (who played on this past Spring’s US edition), Canada’s Jay Malinowski from reggae band Bedouin Soundclash and Texan Rocky Votolato.

Emily & The Red Clay Halo have spent the summer playing festivals including Beautiful Days and Bestival and will round off their fantastic year with a full band headline show at London’s stunning Union Chapel venue on 21st November.

Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo have recorded and released three albums together, Photos.Fires.Fables (2007), Despite The Snow (2009) and Almanac (2011), and have just completed the recording of a fourth album, due for release early in 2013. Her track ‘Nostalgia’ – the b-side to ‘Fields Of June’ - features as the theme tune to Kenneth Brannagh’s television series Wallander. It won her and the composer Martin Phipps a BAFTA and Royal Television Society Award for best soundtrack. Another of Emily’s songs ‘Pause’ from the album Almanac was used as the soundtrack for major BBC2 drama The Shadow Line.
