At The Ocelot we’re massive fans of Canadian band Metric. We saw them when they played the Oxford O2 three years ago when they were touring for their last album. Their gorgeous anthemic sounds made for one of the best gigs we’ve ever experienced.

Well, guess what? They’re back and this time they’re touring to support their fifth studio album Synthetica.

In the meantime they’ve been pretty busy and have had a hand in scoring films for everyone from Edgar Wright to David Cronenberg. They even wrote the theme song for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack with composer Howard Shore. They've even performed their song ‘Gimme Sympathy’ at a private event for The Queen. They will be coming to the O2 on Sunday July 8.
