If there’s one band that is proper old school - that’ll be The Lurkers.

Them be proper punks. Spitting, anarchic, not caring, fighting against everything type punks.

The Lurkers back in the punk era of the late Seventies and early Eighties knew what it was about.

Well, if you hanker after those good ol’ days, you should look no further than Marlborough Beer Festival this weekend - from Friday August 28 to Sunday August 30.

There’s going to be beers an ciders from across the UK but on top of that there’s some right good music for your earholes.

On the Friday night they’ve got The Lurkers with support from The Chaos Brothers.

There’s Mule on the Saturday night.

And to round it all off there’s the fantastic Mick O’Toole with his brand of cider punk from 3pm on the Sunday.

It’s all free entry but you’ll have to pay for your bellyful of beer though!
